Vladimir Shcherbak

Vladimir Shcherbak was born and grew up in Yalta, USSR. He received a BFA and Specialist degree in monumental art from M. Boichuk Kiev State Academy of Decorative-Applied Art and Design in Kiev, Ukraine and earned his MFA in studio art from Michigan State University, East Lansing. His work has been exhibited at venues nationally and internationally, including museums and galleries in the Ukraine, USA, Sweden, Russia, Georgia, and Kuwait. His current art practice examines relationships between memory and space through the genre of the landscape and figurative art. Vladimir Shcherbak is an Assistant Professor of Art at Al Akhawayn University. Before coming to Morocco, he lived and taught in the USA and Kuwait.
